Trainer NASM – CPT B.S. M.S. R.D.
Training has been a passion of mine for a few years now. I’ve been in love with working out since I was young, playing sports throughout my adolescence, and continuing throughout college. Studying kinesiology fed that passion. I could not get enough of learning about the human body, biomechanics, functional anatomy, and applying that to physical fitness. I have dabbled with many different types of training fads, and enjoy doing research on any and all of them. I like to keep an open mind when it comes to exercise, not ever fully committing to one and only one type of exercise routine. The biggest thing for me is helping clients find an enjoyable way to just move. Exercise has turned into quite the chore for people, and I am a firm believer that physical activity has the potential to be truly enjoyable.
I have done a lot of one on one, group training, and group classes the past couple years and love it all! I have worked with all types of demographics, ranging in age, gender, compromised health situations, physical limitations, and athletes. I am currently attending Washington State University studying Dietetics, Nutrition, and Exercise Physiology as I am striving to gain more nutritional knowledge and compile that component with my knowledge of exercise to best assist my clientele in attaining optimal health.
